Tribal Compass

This is a newer style for me, but I have found that this summer I am more willing to experiment with different color schemes and styles.  I think that this piece has a strong tribal feel, and the focal bead reminds me of a compass.  The repetition it takes to make beads with dots upon dots is very good meditative medicine.  I love the earthy colors I used in this lampwork glass bead necklace with matching earrings.  Rust, copper green, dark green, apricot, brown and ivory to name just a few.  The necklace is 18" long with a lobster clasp.  The set includes the matching earrings.

Turquoise Nautilus

When I created the lampwork glass bead focal for this necklace, I was reminded of a nautilus shell. The focal is flat on the back for comfort, and is made of transparent blue, green teal and aqua glass, with ivory for depth.  The necklace is 18" long, featuring bali silver, olive and smoky blue swarovski crystals, and green turquoise with a lobster clasp.

Peacock

A subtle blend of amber, teal and aqua lampwork glass beads is hi-lighted with black Czech AB crystals and bali silver.  This 17" necklace is meant to be worn short so that the peacock dangle rests near the clavicle.  This gorgeous necklace comes with matching earrings.

Sedona Peace Necklace

This beautiful 18" lampwork glass bead necklace features an unusual ceramic raku peace sign I purchased at a local art fair as the focal point. I have used my own lampwork glass beads made with sand from mystical Sedona to complement the focal, these beads are copper green, dark brown, opal yellow and turquoise, and have been lightly etched for a smooth touch. Copper colored freshwater pearls are used as spacers, and a bold copper chain and clasp finish this unusual necklace. Matching earrings are available.

Tahitian Paradise.

This unusual 16" necklace was designed using shells, coral tree seeds (from Maui), coconut beads and of course, a focal lampwork bead in shades of black, silvered ivory and reactive copper, which picks up the colors of the shells very nicely.  Matching earrings are included.

Primitive Brights

Treasures of the Sea

This triple strand ocean inspired necklace was inspired once again by my Piscean nature and love of the ocean.  A strawberry blond mermaid is the focal point of three strands of beads,  designed using etched lampwork glass beads, lampwork hollow glass fish beads, freshwater pearls, tiny seashells, crystals and heishi beads.  The strands have been braided together and joined with a simple sterling silver toggle clasp.  This beautiful aquatic necklace is 18" long and comes with matching etched glass and freshwater pearl sterling silver earrings.

Naples

This beach-inspired necklace actually is made with sand from Naples, Florida.  I tried to catch the feel of the the tide coming in and washing over the sand.  The colors change according to the time of day.  If you are lucky, you can witness one of the most beautiful sunsets on the planet. The clasp is a very unusual sterling silver Hibiscus to complete the tropical theme.
